Larry taught mathematics at the university level for 38 years while Sharon taught all the way from first grade at the American School in Zagreb to graduate courses at UTK. She "interrupted" her teaching with quality control at Corning.
One of the big "pluses" of the career choices which we took advantage was that traveling was part of our work. Our children were fortunate in sharing these experiences.

Gardening was a return to what our ancestors did for a living. Although not farmers, our parents did garden. For whatever reasons, we also gardened.
